Alina Shigri is a Graduate in Literature from the University of Karachi. She brings with her an extensive experience ranging from working as a program host (Current Affairs). Alina was associated with Aaj Tv for more than 5 years. Her TV show Face 2 Face with Alina Shigri was well received among the audiences. Prior to this, she was a part of PTV News and Indus News. During her experience, she has been able to acquire varied skills on carrying out shows, various aspects of production and content, as well as the ability for on-ground reporting.


Ehtisham-ur-Reman is a news anchor at Waqt news Lahore head office. He has been working with Waqt news since January 2008. Ehtisham started his journalistic career from sub editor in 2000 from a news agency; during his career he tasted all flavors of news gathering e.g. Reporting, production and finally his dream job as news anchor. His career as news anchor Spars on more than 7 years, with innumerable breaking stories on his credit. Ehtisham has done Master in Mass Communication and MBA executive from Karachi University. Ehtisham is hosting a live show Nawa-i-Waqt Today, based on Nawa-i-Waqt newspaper stories, editorial policies with analyst and interactive calls. Ehtisham is passionate to serve in media for a prosperous Pakistan with its true ideology.





Javed Siddiq resident editor, Nawa-i-Waqt, Islamabad is hosting the program. Javed Siddiq has 30years of journalistic experience to his credit. He hold masters degree in political science he has covered numerous events of international significance he has participated in US state department programs. Published a first ever White Paper on illegal and fake voters memberships exposing over a thousand members in over 3300 strong National Press Club Islamabad. A Chevening Scholar with educational qualifications of Masters in International Journalism from City University, London. Won PTV National Award for best news reporting for the year 1999-2000. Also a Masters in Defense and Strategic Studies, Quaid e Azam University, Islamabad. Three and a half years of military training as cadet in Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, Abbottabad (1986-88). Veteran journalist Salim Bokhari is presently working as Editor of TheNation. Salim Bokhari is a seasoned journalist and has seen it all in a career spanning more than four decades. He co-hosted Bolta Pakistan programme on Aaj TV. In his lengthy career, Bokhari was also associated with The Sun and The Muslim (both defunct), The News and The National. He has been a regular feature on several talk shows on television and is well -respected in the profession to which he has given his best years. He received President’s Pride of Performance Award in 2005 and the Best English Reporting Award of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society in 1984-85. He is a widely travelled journalist and has on his credit interviews of international personalities
